Artistry in some form has always been a hobby for Sugar. She has worked in several types of mediums such as charcoal, pencil, pen and ink, jewelry forging, ceramics, and sculpting. Eventually, she branched into oils and fell in love with the application. This led to crafting more multi-media pieces. |

Having always been interest in the mixture of art and technology, Porchmoon started at an early age teaching himself the various aspects and how to manipulate everything from sketches to entire multimedia processing. His biggest attraction always came back to Graphic Design, so he obtained an Associates Degree in Computer Science, majoring in Graphic Design and receiving the top of his class honor. Porchmoon became involved with the Fort Wayne Derby Girls early on and took on the task of website development and other various graphic design projects. He met Sugarguns when she joined the league in 2007 and since both were interested in photography and art, a friendship was formed. After being approached by a Fort Wayne Derby Girl to do a photo shoot as a gift for her husband, Porchmoon asked Sugarguns to assist with hair/makeup and overall effect. Thus was born sugar-moon. |
